5 Best Finance and Business Podcasts
Contents
Podcasts can be a great way to get information, or be entertained. The selection can be pretty overwhelming though, so we wanted to showcase the top finance and business podcasts.
A commute or workout is a good time to learn something. Here’s our roundup of the business podcasts we’ve found most helpful, and why. Show details were checked against each podcast’s official site in October 2026.
Found in the Rockies
Whether you’re an entrepreneur in the Rocky Mountain area or elsewhere, this podcast tells founder stories that feel approachable: when the idea hit, and when the founder took the leap.
The show has been running since 2021. In recent seasons, host Les Craig has interviewed founders and investors from the Rocky Mountain West, with a strong focus on cybersecurity and defense tech companies.
When we checked in October 2026, the newest episode on the show’s feed was from October 2025, so check whether new episodes are still coming. The back catalog of nearly 100 episodes is still worth a listen, particularly if the Silicon Valley tech podcasts feel unapproachable.

The Tim Ferriss Show
Tim Ferriss is a likable, easygoing interviewer with a talent for cutting to the core of a topic. He focuses his podcast on top performers in many fields.
The long-form format gives leaders of businesses, movements and other organizations room to go deep. The show has hundreds of episodes, and its site says it has passed one billion downloads. If you’re just getting into podcasts, this is a great place to start.
Past guests listed on the show’s site include Dr. Jane Goodall, Jerry Seinfeld, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Tony Robbins. If you want habits, reading recommendations and lessons from accomplished people, start here.

The All In Podcast
Hosted by technology investors and entrepreneurs Chamath Palihapitiya, Jason Calacanis, David Sacks and David Friedberg, the All-In Podcast is less about running a business than about the state of business. Recent episodes cover AI, financing, markets and policy, along with interviews with prominent guests.
It’s very Silicon Valley centric, but it’s a quick way to hear what influential tech investors are thinking. Keep in mind that the hosts are investors with their own stakes and political views, so treat their takes as opinion, not advice.
The show is pretty unfiltered. The hosts riff off each other and say exactly what’s on their minds. If you’re okay with that, it’s worth a listen.
Masters of Scale
Masters of Scale is hosted by entrepreneur and investor Reid Hoffman. According to his Greylock profile, Hoffman co-founded LinkedIn in 2003, is a partner at Greylock, and also hosts the podcast Possible.
Episodes feature leaders explaining how they grew their companies, with lessons aimed at other entrepreneurs. The same team also produces Rapid Response, a separate show on current business news.
Recent guests listed on the show’s site include Barnes & Noble’s James Daunt, Autodesk’s Andrew Anagnost and Hipcamp’s Alyssa Ravasio. It moves fast and is a strong education on growing a business.
How I Built This
How I Built This started at NPR and became one of the best-known founder-story podcasts. Host Guy Raz digs into the good, the bad and the ugly of building a company. There are hundreds of episodes, so you won’t run out soon.
NPR’s page below holds the earlier archive, with episodes through late 2021, such as Spin Master’s Ronnen Harary on building the company behind PAW Patrol. For newer episodes, Guy Raz’s official site points listeners to Wondery.
If you like founding stories, you’ll be both entertained and educated by this podcast.
Conclusion:
Podcasts are a convenient, usually free way to learn from people who have built companies and careers. Business and finance podcasts are especially useful if you’re working to grow your career or start something of your own.
Remember that podcast hosts and guests share opinions and experiences, not personal financial advice. Use what you learn as a starting point, and check important facts before acting on them.
