As head of investor relations, Corr leads the team that manages Mastercard’s relationships with the investment community. The role involves keeping investors informed and giving management and the board feedback on how the market views the company.
Investor relations teams also work closely with groups such as the management committee, the corporate controller and the corporate secretary to get accurate information to shareholders and analysts.
A Journey of Finance Excellence
Corr joined Mastercard in 2013 to manage customer risk across the Americas. He later held finance leadership roles, including supporting Consumer Products and the UK, Ireland, Nordic and Baltics division.
Before Mastercard, Corr worked in equity trading at UBS and equity research at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. He also worked in the treasurer’s office at General Motors.
In the announcement, Mastercard CFO Sachin Mehra credited Kneeshaw with playing a key role in growing the company’s profile with investors. Corr’s mix of internal finance roles and Wall Street experience gives him a view from both sides of the investor relationship.
